I’m only here to say that it’s fucking hot outside. 🔥 I wanted to look at this picture and remind myself that I’m not always a sweaty mess, a time of cooler temperatures will come again and perhaps I’ll have a good hair day again. Maybe. But that day is not today. 😓
I wonder what the original opera goers would think of a modern pop star, Juanes, performing at THE Teatro Colon, Colombian flags draped proudly from the upper balconies. No ball gowns were worn, no French was spoken but there was dancing. 💃🏼🇨🇴
It’s Friday y mi cuerpo lo sabe 😴. I ranted about all the cervecerías in my stories (watch for my final count! I realized I missed one because my back was to it while I took a picture of another one 😂🤦🏼‍♀️). Anyway, my week has been so busy and life is overwhelming, so while I put on pajamas straight after work and spend the weekend relaxing (read: cleaning the back room where a shelf collapsed and broke EVERYTHING), I hope you all go out for that omnipresent beer and live life for me.
I can’t believe I’ve been living in Buenos Aires for 9 years! Nearly a decade. It’s not always been easy, Buenos Aires is hardly an easy city. And it’s not always enjoyable living in a city with 14 million inhabitants when your hometown had 13,000!

I live in a quieter neighborhood now but for a year I lived a block from this corner when I first moved here and it’s still my favorite place in Buenos Aires. ❤️
the view from Palacio Barolo is the best in Buenos Aires, check what time the sunsets before you reserve your tour to make sure you're up there for the best sunset view in town.

When I booked our trip to South Africa and Johannesburg, I knew I wanted to see Soweto. We went on a bike tour with @sowetobybike and it exceeded my expectations! The hostel was chill, the tour guides were fun and passionate about what they do, and we ate so, so much delicious food. Typical that one of my favorite photos isn't even of the bike or tour, but of the fooooood. .
